We had the best time celebrating Emery's 2nd Birthday with all of our family. Everyone from both sides were able to come (except for Jamie last minute had a speaking engagement!) and it meant the world that everyone was excited to celebrate Emery with us! It was the largest gathering that we've held at our house yet... 30 people, with 11 of them being kids! WOW!
Here was the invitation I designed, printed, cut and sent out all during nap time one day! (I promised myself I would not stress about this party!)
There wasn't a real "theme" to the party, I just tried to focus on all of Emery's favorite things for decorations. Pink is her favorite color, so we had pink tissue paper poms hanging everywhere (thanks again Mada for letting us use some of yours!). Below are some detail shots.

I quickly made a birthday print for the mantle and then reused her birthday sign from last years party and strung it on a frame over our couch:

A closeup of the yumminess! The sign on the table said: "In celebration of Emery turning two, all of her favorite foods are on the menu! Cake, popcorn and fruit galore, please don't feel guilty coming back for more!". We had pretzels, goldfish, lots of fruit, raisins, mini hot dogs, fruit snacks, cake balls, cheese & crackers, candy, and popcorn.... easiest menu ever and literally ALL favorites of Emery!
My sister made her famous punch and then we had sodas and waters if people wanted that:
Before long, it was time to sing Happy Birthday to Emery and let her blow out the candles:

Everyone was so generous with their gifts to Emery and she got HOOKED UP with some Minnie Mouse gear (her fav!). Thank y'all so much again!

At one point we had all 11 kiddos upstairs in the bonus room playing. Talk about CHAOS, but they were all having an absolute blast!
Emery developed a fever the night before (getting 4 teeth in at the moment) so she wasn't feeling that well during her party, but was a great sport overall. Glad my Dad caught a little glimpse of a smile from her that day in this picture below! Happy 2nd Birthday sweet girl, we love you so much!

The party was just perfect Leah and your creativity was evident everywhere we looked! Loved all the pink touches and how everything was about what your sweet Emery loved! So thankful you are closer to us now, and that we were able to be part of the party. Emery handled all the excitement very well, even though she wasn't top of her game at first.
Leah, I posted a long comment on how great the party was, but it didn't take, and was lost. It was a wonderful party. I loved it! Here I go again.
