Let me tell you, after packing and unpacking our bags at 5 different locations, we were very excited to get to our hotel in Pleasanton, where we would be for the next 4 nights. I just can't get over these pictures of Emery bringing her backpack and Goldie into our room... When did she get so big?! ah.
Most of the family tried to get rooms close to one other so our monitors would reach from room to room, and our plan actually worked! After we had put all the kiddos down for bed, we met up with extended family out by the pool to catch up (with our monitors of course!).
Friday morning, the guys woke up early to play golf with close friends and family of the bride and groom. The rest of us played with the kids in the hotel pool and took naps before getting ready for the rehearsal dinner that night! We started off at the Ruby Hill Winery for a wine tasting before heading to a delicious Italian restaurant for dinner.
The future bride and groom, Lauren and Kevin!
Emery with Cousin Lauren. Let me tell you Emery just loved the whole Bayly crew!
Giovanna and Drew:
The restaurant had bocce courts, so after dinner we all went over and played a couple games. Luckily the whole Guenther crew took up a court and the kids had the best time running after the balls, picking them up and throwing them in a completely different direction. It was hilarious.
Here's a picture of Aunt Kathy & Cousin Lauren. Kathy & Dave hosted this amazing night, and we can't thank you enough for including us in it!
Our family of 3. This picture was taken WAY after Em's bedtime... she was a trooper!
Saturday morning, we spent the day at the pool then got ready for Kevin & Lauren's wedding! They had a kids free wedding, so Aunt Kathy & Uncle Dave went out of their way to find and provide awesome babysitters for us all. When we got home all the kids were sleeping in their pack-n-plays in their respective rooms. What a treat! The ceremony was held at the golf course and another one of Kyle's cousins, Greg, married them.
The happy couple, Lauren and Kevin after being announced husband and wife. LOVED her dress!
Loved all their decorations and special touches!
Kyle and I:
We had a great time at the reception, listening to toasts, watching first dances, and then dancing ourselves with family and friends.
We snapped some family shots as the sunset behind the mountains during the reception too!

We had a really fun night spent with family, and Kyle and I even helped Giovanna and Drew decorate the car before Kevin & Lauren drove off. Here are a couple phone pictures from the night!
Sunday after the wedding, Uncle Dave & Aunt Kathy invited everyone over to their house for a family pool day. Emery was battling a high fever so my full attention was on her instead of taking pictures. They did get a group picture of everyone at the end of the day though, but Kyle, Emery and I had already left to get Emery in bed. Oh well we were there in spirit!
I'm thankful to have married into a family who can have so much fun together even though we don't see each other as frequently as we would like. You are all more than welcome to visit us on the East Coast anytime, we would love it! Thank you again for your generosity our entire trip, it was a GREAT vacation!
