Here is a before picture-- we were using the bottom half of our hutch to hold the tv:

In place with tops on! So crazy to see them all come together... Dad's engineering mind is insane!
Next was starting on the shelving for the tops! They make the shelves all different sizes and even curved the top for me! (We copied a picture I had found on Pinterest for inspiration!)
Moving the outlets so they wouldn't be covered by the shelves!

Adding molding on the top and bottom to make it look completely built in!
DONE!! Kyle even decided to build a "knee kicker" himself so we didn't have to hire someone to lay back down the carpet correctly. Love my handy man!
Pretty unbelievable how you can transform your living space in 2 days!
Kyle and I spent the following weekend priming and painting it all-- and VOILA! (We still have to order cabinet doors for the bottom and install those)
Kyle and Dad are an amazing team and we are so grateful for Dad's expertise and willingness to sweat and do manual labor for days straight. We are SO happy with how they turned out!

All I can say is "Wow, they are pros! What a team". Turned out beautifully, and I loved visiting with you and Em while they worked! We had the easy job :-) Just love the way they transformed your family room and look like they were just meant to be there...custom built-ins at their best!
These cabinets are awesome!! You are so lucky to have Kyle and your Dad able to do such great work! We are having our family room cabinet re-done because we had to get a new TV (the old one fizzled) and it was hard to find someone to do the work - I'm still not sure how it will turn out. Kyle and your Dad are pros!! Your cabinets are so nice! Love them!
