Wedding Day- Sunday!

Sunday all the ladies met at 10:00 am to start getting ready! When you have 9 bridesmaids you have to start early to get everyones hair done! Molly had 1 makeup artist and 2 hair stylists come in to our hotel room, and boy were they amazing! It was fun to spend the day hanging out with the girls laughing and pumping Molly up for that night!

All the guys went to the white water center and hung out all day since they all take about 5 minutes to get ready! Around 3:30 we all headed over to The Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens to put on our dresses/tuxes and start taking pictures with the photographers! Molly found an AMAZING photographer, http://critseyrowe.blogspot.com/ all of their pictures are going to be absolutely beautiful.

The guys started seating the guests around 5:30... here is where they had the ceremony. The weather was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!

Molly named each table in years with matching photos... hilarious!

On each table were little favor boxes filled with a truffle and a card that said "A Donation has been made in your name to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation". Molly's dad has MS, which this favor was just so special and such a great idea. Oh and did I mention Molly wrapped each one of these boxes and tied the ribbons herself?!

They had a candy bar! That said "Sweet Treats" on the bags... yum!!

We had such an amazing weekend with everyone. We all are rooting for a 1 year anniversary party since all of us got a long so well and had so much fun together! Oh I forgot to mention that M&M played "Bring 'em out" to introduce the bridal party. Everyone started getting competitive and choreographed either dance moves, the worm, riding piggy-back, posing and more... it was absolutely hilarious I really wish there was a video!
Congrats Molly and Marshal we are SO happy for you both, thank you again for letting Kyle and I be a part of such a special day!

Wedding Weekend- Saturday

This past weekend was SO MUCH FUN as both Kyle and I were both a part of Molly and Marshal's wedding! Saturday the girls met up at 10 am to drive to Panera for breakfast before getting our nails done! The nail salon was AMAZING and had the most comfortable chairs to sit in while we all got our pedicures and manicures. It was such a relaxing day, getting to pamper ourselves! The guys met and played frisbee golf all afternoon, even Tyson and Tupelo got to be a part of it!

We all met up at 6:00 for the rehearsal on the green near South Park mall. A bad storm was coming so luckily they had a covered portion that we were able to practice under while it was raining. As soon as the rehearsal was over so was the rain... amazing! We took lots of pictures before heading over for the dinner at MAGGIANOS Little Italy!

After stuffing ourselves, Molly and Marshal started passing out gifts which they both went COMPLETELY overboard with! Marshal gave all the groomsmen these awesome North Face water proof duffel bags that also have back pack straps... how cool!

Molly gave all the bridesmaid totes with our initials on them, that were filled to the brim of useful things!

This is how it all looked... after unwrapped we had: personalized blank cards & envelopes with our names on them, silver flipflops from J Crew to wear at the reception, silver stud earrings to wear at the ceremony, a whole apple martini kit, and a beautiful clutch that she had made off of an etsy shop for us.

Look at this fabulous clutch! The inside had a tag that said "To My Friend, 5.03.09".

Also if you see below, on her cards for us she drew our bodies then cut out paper to make all of our dresses since they were all different styles!!!

We had such a wonderful time visiting with everyone... what a fun night to spend with friends! When you have 20 people in your wedding party you are bound to have fun wherever you go!!

Amos Lee Concert with surprise guest!

Last night, Lacey, Kyle, Thomas and I all headed to Variety Playhouse in Little 5 Points to go hear Amos Lee with opening act Heather Luttrell. It was AMAZING. We went upstairs to the seated area and just enjoyed the relaxing music! If you are not that familiar with Amos Lee, he sings "sweet pea... apple of my eye" that song that's on the AT&T commercial!

And the special guest was.... ANOOP DESAI!!!Incase you all don't watch American Idol religiously like Kyle and I do... he was just on this season and is a fellow UNC grad like my brother! Don't worry Nick I told him all about you!

Anoop came out at the end and sang a song with Amos Lee, which was really neat. It's fun to be in Atlanta where crazy things happen like this! WHAT A FUN NIGHT!

Awesome Weekend!

Kyle and I traveled this past weekend to Charlotte, NC for our good friends, Molly & Marshal's wedding! We had an absolute blast, and I promise to post more about it as soon as I get everyone's pictures!

ALSO my best friend Sara had her baby on Friday!! I am so excited to meet little Ethan this coming weekend-- Congrats Sara & Joe!!

Girls Dinner at Marlows Tavern!

The past 2 months at work have been absolute mayhem, as Lacey and I had to get out our biggest project of the year... the KA catalog! We have finally turned it in and are so excited to get it back as we completed reorganized and redesigned the entire thing this year. Andrea and Jen helped a bunch with it as well, so we all went out to Marlow's Tavern and had a drink and a yummy dinner to celebrate!

I am so blessed to have such awesome girlfriends at work that I truly enjoy being around. We all make each other laugh so hard, and even though the past 2 months have been very stressful, everyone helped eachother and we still had a great time getting it done and in to the printer!

Taste of Marietta

Today was "Taste of Marietta" in the square where all the local restaurants come out and give out samples at a reduced price. There were about 4 live bands there as well, and other fun things to watch/buy/hear about.

We came back, played red neck horseshoes outside for a while to get some sun, then started the grill... and cooked this. Chicken & mushroom shish kabob and corn!

Also yesterday we tried a new recipe... stuffed corn turkey burgers... they were delicious!

We also celebrated Tyson's 3rd birthday! Like terrible parents we forgot it during the week, so we celebrated with a belated bone!

Jen & Brooke's Shower at KA!

This afternoon we had an "around the clock" shower for Brooke & Jen. Brooke works upstairs in ecommerce getting married June 6th, and Jen works with me downstairs in marketing and is getting married June 27th. The joint shower was a ton of fun, I love that our company has fun events like this.

We played a fun game called "Who's Wedding is it Anyway", where we had to rack our brains of all the details about both of their weddings. AND I WON!! I guess I kind of cheated considering one of my best friends at the office is Jen, and I know all about her wedding :) There was a 4 way tie for second... here are all of the winners:
