"Tim the Tool-Time-Hammer Week" begins!

Well as most of you know we are building an office this week! My parents drove down on Saturday to spend Thanksgiving week with us and help build the new room! We decided to cut our garage in half, so instead of a stacked two car garage it will now be one car and an office! Mom & Dad didn't get into Atlanta till late Saturday night, so we'll count Day 1 to be Sunday. Sunday, after church and lunch, we measured and made the list then went to Home Depot.

Here are the measurements of how far the bookcases will come out!

The men came back and started cutting out the door from the drywall:
Along with the room downstairs we also have a couple other projects going on. About a week ago, Kyle and I discovered that our washer was leaking. We have a tray underneath it, but unfortunately the tray had a leak in it as well. Turns out the water has rotted the baseboard in our laundry room, and seeped into that wall. So we also have dad helping us with that!

And now we are letting it dry out, and then we'll put new baseboard in!

While the guys are building the room, Mom & I are going to be painting rooms in our house! We bought the paint on Sunday, and Monday will begin painting! We'll keep you posted everyday on how this is going!
P.S. The title is named "Tim the Tool-Time-Hammer Week". If you know my dad, you know he always mixes names up (example: Cabo St. Lucia, I'd like a junion chicken chaken), and of course he came through with this saying a couple weeks ago!
