Okay so our vacation posts are finally starting! Thanks for being so patient with me!
Our flight to St. Thomas on Wednesday afternoon was pretty uneventful, as we slept almost the entire way there! When we arrived we took a taxi to one of the St. Thomas Marriotts named Frenchman's Reef. It was beautiful, located right on the coast on the south side of St. Thomas. We dropped our luggage in the room then walked around to explore and find dinner. (For those of you that don't know, you cannot fly into St. John. So we chose to fly into St. Thomas, use some of Kyle's Marriott points for a night then take the ferry over to St. John the next day!)
After scoping out the menus we decided on a restaurant called Havana Blue located right on the beach.
We shared 3 tapas for dinner, and were quickly introduced to the expensive meals on the islands -- ahh SO pricy! We had a great time overlooking the water and talking, then called it a night.
And that was Day 1 of our trip!

Brings back memories...Nathan and I stayed there when we went to St. Thomas. What a great trip - we also ate at the same resturant! Can't wait to see more pictures!

Such a great trip. Brings back memories. We rented a sailboat for my father in laws b-day and spent the day on those wonderful waters.
This is where Chris and I went on our honeymoon! We stayed at the Marriott's Morning Star..the little cabanas on to the left of the Frenchman's Reef. Oh, how I wish we could go back!!
