Previously, I've posted on our blog about some charities that Kyle and I have become aware of and/or joined. Well, we have another one to share!
Every three minutes a child is born with a cleft — often unable to
eat, speak, socialize or smile. In some places these children are
shunned and rejected. And in too many cases, their parents can't afford
to give them the surgeries they need to live a normal life. This is where Operation Smile comes in to help! This company is made up of medical
professionals and caring hearts who provide safe, effective
reconstructive surgery for children born all over the world with facial deformities such as
cleft lip and cleft palate. Since 1982, they've provided more than 2 million patient evaluations and over 200,000 free surgeries to children and young adults in need.

Operation Smile is such a great charity! I know a few doctors on the team for them and it is truly wonderful. My mom was born with a cleft lip and had groundbreaking surgery when she was younger to correct it. My family helps out with them from time to time. Thank you for supporting this charity! :)
