Merrin turns 2 & playdates!

Last month, Merrin turned 2! Emery had a high fever so her and Kyle weren't able to make it to the party, but I still represented for all of us. It was fun to visit with Lauren's whole family and celebrate Merrin together!

The following week we met Lauren and Merrin over in Shelby to hike in a nature preserve right by the river one day.  The girls loved it and we had fun spotting all different kinds of animals.  The girls are totally getting to an age where they have started chasing each other around and having their own conversations together... so funny to watch!

We ate a picnic lunch right by the river then headed over to a frozen yogurt place as a treat for the girls.  Can you tell they both LOVED the dessert? 

So grateful we live so close, fun play date!
