The Arnolds visit!

Two weekends ago, our good friends Chris and Kathleen came up from Georgia to visit with their son, Myer!  We had the best time catching up with them, watching the kiddos play together and enjoying the beautiful weather all weekend.

Saturday morning, Chris, Kyle and Cory competed in the Warrior Dash.  It's an obstacle course filled 5K, and at the end they had to crawl through a mud pit, so check out this next picture.  Of course they had a blast.

When they got home we all headed to our neighborhood pool for a couple hours before the kiddos had to go down for their naps.

And it wasn't only the kids who took naps-- everyone did!

That night we headed up to Birkdale to eat at Brixx Pizza and the let the kids run around in the splash park.  THEY HAD A BLAST!

Sunday morning, we headed to the White Water Center to show Chris & Kathleen how cool it is.  We hiked around, let Tyson go swimming, then had a picnic lunch together watching all the people raft & kayak.

We had so much fun watching how big Myer is now -- walking, talking, being constantly on the move, and just plain happy all the time!  We miss living walking distance away from them so much!

It's always so easy when best friends visit!  No extravagant plans, no entertaining... just doing the things we all love and enjoy together.  Thank y'all again for coming-- we had so much fun and look forward to y'all visiting again soon!
