Last week when my brother was in town, Kyle took advantage of having a work partner to get a project completed (since I'm pretty useless carrying anything these days-- let alone huge sheets of plywood)! Our storage room in the basement is completely going away (will post this week on that project), so we desperately needed to put flooring down in our attic for storage. Unfortunately before there was only a 4 foot by 4 foot section that was floored, and look at what a mess that was!
And another picture. It is a pain with all the trusses but definitely worth it:

I know it doesn't look like much, but we've already moved shelves up there and have bins stacked very neatly. This was our first project that we had to complete before we got moving on all the others, so be prepared for lots of project blog posts soon! Thanks again Nick!!

More storage space is always a good thing, especially with a little one on the way!
Yay for more space!! Kyle's face in the 1st pic made me laugh! I am so ready for a house...we seem to be filling up the 2 bedroom apt. too quickly!

We had to do that with our garage attic as well. It really does make a huge difference. Glad Nick was there to help and that they were able to get it all done.

doesn't it feel good to get a little organized! i think for me, nesting is more organizing than cleaning :)
